About the Design: Versailles is out of the rococo era. In this era typical was the highly ornamented and almost theatrical presentation of curves and asymmetrical forms creating drama, motion and illusions of surprises. It appeared for the first time in France and northern Italy during the reign of Louis XV the heir to the sun King Louis XIV. The era was highly influenced by the king and Madame de Pompadour and represents the luxury and wealth at the highly vibrant time.

Über das Design: Versailles ist von der Rokoko Zeit beeinflusst. In dieser Zeit war es typisch alles sehr stark mit Ornamenten zu versehen und mit einer fast theatralischen Präsentation von Kurven und asymmetrischen Formen eine Dramatik, Bewegung und eine Illusionen von Überraschungen zu kreieren. Es kommt das erste mal in Frankreich und Italien während der Zeit von Louis XV dem Erben des Sonnenkönigs Louis XIV. Die Epoche was sehr durch den König sowie Madame de Pampadour beeinflusst und repräsentiert den Luxus und Reichtum jener Zeit.
